I Got 99 Problems, and a switch is definitely one of them

#1

So, no matter what I've tried putting in the blanks, I always get 1 all the way down, or -1 or 0 all the way down when it's supposed to read 1, -1, 0

def greater_less_equal_5(answer):
if ________:
return 1
elif ________:
return -1
else:
return 0

print greater_less_equal_5(4)
print greater_less_equal_5(5)
print greater_less_equal_5(6)

#2

You gave almost none info what exactly is the problem.
Replace underlined places with statements that will check if value given is greater, lesser or equal.

Hi

I have the same problem and it's driving me mad. Did you work out what is meant to go in the blanks. I've tried everything and just can't do it. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

def greater_less_equal_5(answer):
if ________:
return 1
elif ________:
return -1
else:
return 0

print greater_less_equal_5(4)
print greater_less_equal_5(5)
print greater_less_equal_5(6)
