#1

. Remember: the second item will have an index of 1. Make sure to access the second item by its index!

numbers = [5, 6, 7, 8]

print "Adding the numbers at indices 0 and 2..."
print numbers[0] + numbers[2]
print "Adding the numbers at indices 1 and 3..."
print "Adding the numbers at indices 2 and 4..."
print "Adding the numbers at indices 4 and 6..."

#2

Write a statement that prints the result of adding the second and fourth items of the list. Make sure to access the list by index!
do it like this example :
print numbers[0] + numbers[2]

and why did you print this

#3

The thing of "print adding the numbers at indices 2 and 4" that was already there. I tried both print the adding numbers at indices.. part and adding the numbers. I didn't think to try just adding the numbers. Thanks!!
