I don't get it 7/13

#1

// Parameter is a number, and we do math with that parameter
var timesTwo = function(number) {
return number * 2;
};

// Call timesTwo here!
var newNumber =
console.log(newNumber);

I can't understand why it wont work once I put timesTwo in like it's asking
var newNumber = Function timesTwo
console.log(newNumber);

Nvm i found another post that broke it down better, thank you forum gods.

You should do it like this every time :wink:

var newNumber = timesTwo (2);

and the result will be:

2*2 = 4

or you can directly print it to the console using this:

console.log ( timesTwo (2));
