I can't start the boss machine project

Okay so I just unzip the file, then I typed in ‘npm install’ that install all the packages. But after I did that the terminal saids ‘found 3 high severity vulnerabilities’. I typed in ‘npm audit fix’ to fix the issues, but it gave me this error message:

Preformatted text`npm ERR! code EAUDITNOPJSON
npm ERR! audit No package.json found: Cannot audit a project without a package.json

npm ERR! A complete log of this run can be found in:
npm ERR! /home/aaron/.npm/_logs/2022-01-01T17_27_34_435Z-debug.log

It’s telling me I have no package.json file, but it already comes with it, and I even typed in npm run start but it gave me these error messages:
npm ERR! code ENOENT
npm ERR! syscall open
npm ERR! path /home/aaron/package.json
npm ERR! errno -2
npm ERR! enoent ENOENT: no such file or directory, open ‘/home/aaron/package.json’
npm ERR! enoent This is related to npm not being able to find a file.

Am I missing something here? Do I have to create another package.json file?

You can basically ignore the warnings and do the project anyways without using npm audit fix.

If you want to pursue it further you can check out more info here: Auditing package dependencies for security vulnerabilities | npm Docs
