Hello, I don’t know if I’m in the right community to write this, but I can’t change my profile image. I can change it on the settings section on the Codecademy dashboard, but not in the settings section on Codecademy Discuss, so basically, I have two different profile images on two different pages. I don’t have the option to change the image on Codecademy Discuss because the “choose image” icon is not appearing at all. If this is the wrong place to post this, please let me know and possibly tell me where/how I can contact Codecademy by sending an email to the right address on the issue. Thank you.

Changing your profile picture on Codecademy dashboard is exactly what you’re supposed to do, and the picture you set will be used on Discuss.
You mention two different pictures. I’d be interested to know what picture it is that you see on here. What I see is a redhead girl with a gun and headphones.
If that’s the right picture, perhaps you should clear your cache?

the picture should be the same for both, in order for the discuss picture to update (after changing it on codecademy main site) you might need to log out and log in again

Ok. I will try. Do you want me to take some screenshots of both pics and what’s not working?
Also, it’s the same thing on my phone too when I was checking to make sure. So it’s not like it’s just the computer doing this.

Yeah, I took off cookies and cleared everything. Still the same.

update I created a second account to see if it was just my account acting up, and it’s not. It won’t update my discuss profile either on the other one.
Should I delete my account and see if that works?

deleting account shouldn’t be the solution. Did you log out on both the main site and forum and logged back in again?

the link between main site and discourse is broken, so it will be fixed, but there is no date yet for when this fix will be released
