I cannot delete my Codecademy account linked with my GitHub account

Greetings. I want to delete my Codecademy account, that I log in with my GitHub account, to reset all my progress, badges, even unfinished courses that I’ve left. I am currently on FREE plan, I’m unsubscribed from the Pro plan.

I went to Account+Billing, then to Delete Account, then clicked the button Re-login to continue to confirm that I’m the account owner. The button redirected me to the login page. I could still log in with my GitHub account. My account was not deleted at all.

Since it’s linked to your GH account, you probably have to revoke access from GitHub.
OR, did you try this?

https://help.codecademy.com/hc/en-us/articles/220801347-How-to-Delete-Your-Account

If that doesn’t work, you might want to contact CC’s CS with this form (from the Help page link on the forum’s home page):

https://help.codecademy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I can still re-authorize the same account with GitHub. The account is not deleted.

If nothing works, then contact CS.
No one from CC is on this forum.

I don’t have password because I log in with my GitHub account. I want to delete that CodeCademy account, which uses my GitHub account. But I keep going back to this page:

Did you re-login to confirm? Or, disconnect your GH credentials? Otherwise, I’ve no idea. Like I said, it’s best to contact customer service…as they will be able to help you.
