I am stuck on 11

i have written the code as given in instruction but it ain't accepting the code

Can you show the code please? Or at least the error you're getting?

same problem is with me

same answer, post your code

If you use the image url that CodeAcademy suggests then it will not pass. Do a google search and use your own image

you need to have a space between the second " and the final /> for accepting your image and complete the exercise :wink:

Yeah i figured the space error in a while! Thanks for the help :smiley:

A post was split to a new topic: Exercise 11 html basic

Ah that's it, thank you!!

having issue with this code. i do not know why i can pass

<!DOCTYPE html>
<img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-blog/assets/f3a16fb6.jpg"/>

<img src= " http://bookboon.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/happy-students.jpg "/>

this exercise is strict on the spaces you uses, so don't uses spaces in:

and at the end, make sure you do have a space before />:

.jpg" />

but no space between .jpg and "

this is not working

<!DOCTYPE html>
<img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-blog/assets/f3a16fb6.jpg"/>
<img src="http://bookboon.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/happy-students.jpg"/>

and this is not working either
i am just looking for the error

thanks but is not working. I do not know what is going on

this is the code

> <!DOCTYPE html>
> <html>
>     <head>
>         <title></title>
>     </head>
>     <body>
> <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-blog/assets/f3a16fb6.jpg"/>
> <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-blog/assets/ninja_zpsa5dbe37a.jpg" />
>     >     </body>
>     > </html>

you do need a space between .jpg" and /> (annoying xml syntax, i know):

i put in a underscore instead of a space, so you can see it, but there should be a space

for next time, use one of the two following options to make your code/indent is visible:

select your code and press ctrl + shift + c (or cmd + shift + c if you use a mac)

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

Hi there!

I have the same problem on HTML basic lesson 11, I red and tried all the answers on that subject , but not solved my problem , I think there should be a better way , so people like me spending more than a week on one problem without getting result. It seems I am not very happy on this.
Thanks for your time, to read this

Could you post your code so i can have a look? I am sure there is a way to fix it
