Hi, I finished the basics of the Python course, and the first next step offered is the us medical insurance costs portfolio project.

I downloaded the zip, and used Jupyter Notebook to start the programming. This might be a stupid question, but I just want to make sure this is the way to go…

Thanks in advance!

Yes, I think that is what you need to do. This is an “off-platform” project, so you should use Jupyter Notebook for it. Then, you can download your code and upload it to Github.

Thanks jmatuch2! It’s just a bit weird to suddenly start doing stuff outside of the codecademy environment.

Yes, it feels a little bit like being handed the keys to a car when you’re just starting to drive.
