When creating a CASE does the statement have to have certain placement in the query?
For example I want to make my results look more like the chart in this project (with true & false) would I have to put the CASE at the end of the query or right after SELECT?

Hello @byte7181295660. Welcome to the forum. CASE is part of the column selection process, so it needs to follow SELECT, but not necessarily immediately after SELECT. You could select other columns before you use CASE, but it does need to precede the FROM clause. For example:

SELECT order_id,
  crust_type,
  CASE delivery WHEN 1 THEN 'True' ELSE 'FALSE' END AS delivery,
  toppings,
  sauce_type
FROM
  pizza_orders;
