I’m in the United Kingdom. I can’t find anything that says I can’t use the Foursquare API here or that it is delivered by CloudFront. Anyone any ideas what’s going on? Thank you!

Do you have access to one that you can try with?

Ideally you should try with a VPN using a node from Uk and one from another Country. In this way you can pinpoint if the problem is your ip address specifically or your location. :slight_smile:

Thank you - I did try that but it seems to be working with the VPN turned off too. I think I missed a step and maybe that triggered the 403 error.

Just for the record, when I came back to the project today with the VPM off, I got the 403 error again. Maybe I didn’t clear my cache when I turned it off yesterday, or the permissions stay in place for a session, or something.

So Codecademy, you may need to look into whether learners in different parts of the world can access the APIs in the project.
