HTML Basics III; 11; 'Div'ide and Conquer; Error Message, Correct Code

I’m creating the

tags correctly per the instruction. Still receiving an error about having my
tags on line 10. I’ve copied and pasted the syntax CA provided, as well as deleting a line, submitting, then attempting to submit again after placing the
on line 10. Clearly, my troubleshooting is not working; however the preview is recognizing the code I’m putting in. I even used HTMLedit.com to make sure I could see the yellow square properly, and sure enough! It just won’t let me pass. I don’t know what is improperly being identified when I click submit. See code below.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<title>Result</title>
	</head>
	<body>
	<div style="width:50px; height:50px; background-color:red"></div><br></br>
		<div style="width:50px; height:50px; background-color:blue"></div><br></br>
		<div style="width:50px; height:50px; background-color:green"></div><br></br>
		<div style="width:50px; height:50px; background-color:yellow"></div><br></br>
	</body>
</html>

Thanks team!

These are not asked for in the instructions. The error message may just be the only one that is available when the lesson fails. Remove all the <br> tags and your will have what is expected.

You should also know that <br> or <br/> is void element, meaning it has no content so does not get an ENDTAG (</br>). Something to keep in mind in the future for when you actually do need to use it.
