HTML Basics II Chapter 10

#1

Why do I receive the error message that my second li is px16 instead of px12? My code seems correct. (see below)

Big title

  1. This item is big Arial.

  2. This item is medium Verdana.
  3. <li style="font-family:Impac; font-size: 10px">This item is small Impact.</li>
         </ol>
    </body>

#2

You have spelt the font incorrectly it should be "Impact", whereas you put "Impac".

Maybe you could post the code that you used for the 2nd <li> then I could take a look at what you're doing wrong.

#3

The exact same thing happened to me. I don't know why.

#4

Try reseting the code and doing it again. It worked for me :grinning:

#5

I've this problem too ;/ I don't know what the fu** I'm doing wrong ;/ :frowning:

#6

Have you tried resetting the code like stated above? If so put your code in here and someone can take a look at it for you!

#9

#11

Hi 3dscrusher and anyone else who has problems with this assignment,
The lines below let me pass to the next lesson. please make sure that you copy exactly what you see. Make sure you check what you did wrong. It took me nearly a day to figure out that I should not leave space after colon or semicolon. Hope this helps.

Big title

  1. This item is big Arial.

  2. This item is medium Verdana.

  3. This item is small Impact.

#12

Hi @a_kiraly, please could you edit your post and format it by:-

1. selecting the text you want to format, so for you it would
be the HTML code.
2. Click the button which is indicated by a "</>"
3. Now it should display how these instructions are displayed
and instead of seeing the outcome of the code, you should see the
actual code.

#13

This is broken. It contradicts itself. My second li is 12px..I dont know hy it is reading 16px...To bad i was enjoying this course.

#14

Your mistake is very small. If you look carefully trough all the text, you notice that you've typed li style: instead of li style=

You typed : instead of =.

Hope this helps.

#15

i am having trouble with this exercise

#16

can you please help me for the others

#17

me to I am not enjoying this course either

#20

I am having te same problem.I do not know why??? :frowning:

#21

You're not ending each CSS property with a semi-colon.
Add it to the end of the font-family property on each <li> and it should then work!
