I cannot understand how to solve this problem. It's a bit confusing and I'm very weak at maths. Please help me out.

the comment tells you what the result should be and your job is to put the right sign so that bool_one has the correct value. In this case the value should be True so the right hand side should be True. 3 < 5: three is smaller than 5. That is True, therefore here is nothing else to do and you can go to the next line.
