How do you add color while there's a colspan there?

<th colspan="2"><em>Famous Monsters by Birth Year</em></th>

So how do you add color to this coding problem?

never mind I figured it out

I have the same question. Can you post your answer please.

no, no, no. that is not how it works, if you need help, post your code.

Here is an image with two attributes:

<img src="#" at="my_image">

now, you shoud be able to use this to give two attributes to one <th> tag

wait so how do you make the color thing work??

what color thing? this:

<img src="#" at="my_image">

simple, insert 3 backticks before and after the code:

```
<img src="#" at="my_image">
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

Try this code:
th colspan=“2” style=“background-color:red”>
Use this without the “;” in between both attributes.
It works but it keeps saying put in the first th. Let me know if you figure it out please.
