How do I make a CSS rule that selects Jumbotron and Container?

#1

It says to "Set the position of the div class="container" div inside div class="jumbotron".. div to relative" whenever I try to enter it in. I put in:
.jumbotron .container {
position: relative
top: 100px
}
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

Your new CSS rule looks perfect. There might be something above it in your CSS file that is affecting it. If you would like me to have a look, please post all of your main.css file.

I'm having the same problem. Here's my main.css file. I'm pretty sure ours will look identical.

.nav a {
  color: #5a5a5a;
  font-size: 11px;
  font-weight: bold;
  padding: 14px 10px;
  text-transform: uppercase;
}

.jumbotron {
  background-image:url('http://goo.gl/04j7Nn');
  height: 500px;
}

.jumbotron h1 {
  color: #fff;
  font-size: 48px;
  font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
  font-weight: bold;
}

.jumbotron p {
  font-size: 20px;
  color: #fff;
}

.learn-more {
  background-color: #f7f7f7;
}

.learn-more h3 {
  font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
  font-size: 18px;
  font-weight: bold;
}

.learn-more a {
  color: #00b0ff;
}
.nav li {
    display: inline
}

You should add your new CSS rule in there and show me again.

@scockrill, you are missing some semi-colons in .jumbotron .container

and @mainstreamaddy, you are also missing some semi-colons in .jumbotron .container
