How do I change my username from the default one given to me?

Hello. I registered onto this forum about 3 days ago, and instead of giving me my desired username, it seems like a username was just generated and given to me automatically. How do I give myself a username of my own? Is it because I registered with a Google account? Or am I just too new? Do I have to wait a few days or meet a certain requirement to be able to give myself a new username?

If I can already, how do I do that?

Hey,

Nope as far as I know you can immediately change your username

You go to My Account
You will see under the list Username listed replace with what you want and click on save

How do I change my username?

To change your username: Go to My Account In the Username (required) field, enter your new username Save your changes using the UPDATE PROFILE button.

When you come back to the forums after changing your name, you will have to logout and in again for it to show up here.
