Unfortunately you can’t remove a course from the dashboard, nor can you leave it. The only options you have to get it (kind of) out of the way are:
- Finish the course
- Make a new account
But please note that if you go with the second option, you will not be able to transfer progress on other courses over to your new account.
I recommend option one.

Thanks for your answer. But but if you are interested in the course at all?! I dont want to spend time on this one and I hope codecademy will create an option that people can just undo their subscription from a course and be able to leave it. I could do that easily in Coursera.

Even though on codecademy you can’t remove courses from the dashboard that doesn’t mean that you have to spend time on them.
