Hey! Can somebody explain the booleans to me?

I'm Ania and as you probably figured- I'm new to this. I have never done programming before and I really have no idea how to understand the booleans. What is True, what is False? Does it literally mean that something is right/correct (True) or incorrect/wrong (False)? How do I use it?

Well, thanks for your help and I hope I don't sound as dumb as I imagine I do…

It literally means true or false, like correct or incorrect. For example, 7 < 10 is true because in reality 7 is less then 10. Another example, 8 > 15 would be false, because 8 is never greater than 15.

A boolean is just a comparison looking to see is this correct(true) or not(false).
