Hi. On Course https://www.codecademy.com/paths/computer-science/tracks/cspath-intro/modules/cspath-python-functions/projects/physics-class/ I run the script but i keep getting <function get_force at 0x7f08c1241d90>. Any help appriciated. Thank You!

Hello! Could you post your code, please? To format your code, press this button:

and put your code between the back ticks:Screen Shot 2020-05-02 at 14.06.13

The most likely cause for this is that you forgot to put the parentheses on the function call. You most likely did this:

print(get_force)

Which will print the information about get_force, since it is a function, but you did not use parentheses.

I hope this helps!

As @codeneutrino stated, posting your code is a helpful part of getting an answer.
It is very difficult to help debug if we don’t know what you are working with.

If I took a guess based on what is being printed, you are probably stating the variables name like so:

def statement():
  return 'If called correctly this line will print!'

print(statement) #note the lack of parenthesis after the function ()
# this will print something similar to the message you received.
# it is stating the location of the function in the memory

In order to actually use the code inside of a function you have to call it using parenthesis:

def statement():
  return "If called correctly this line will print!"

print(statement()) # note the parenthesis after the function ()
# will print the line inside of the statement function
