This is how you use console.log:

console.log( put what you want printed in here );

console.log:("January".substring(0, 3);

Not quite, see the differences:

console.log:("January".substring(0, 3);
console.log( "January".substring(0, 3) );

This what it should look like:

console.log( "January".substring(0, 3) );

I agree. There shouldn't be a colon before the brackets.

Answer:

console.log("January".substring(0,3));
