Help with my Python Project

Whats up guys, how you doing?

I am facing this problem and it is not letting me go throught my project. I am not sure if it is anything
wrong with the website or with my code. Would anyone give me a hand with my issue?

Here is the link:
https://www.codecademy.com/courses/learn-python-3/projects/function-args-the-nile

This is when I am running the “test_function(calculate_shipping_cost)” in the point 8.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File “script.py”, line 14, in
test_function(calculate_shipping_cost)
File “/home/ccuser/workspace/function-args-nile/test.py”, line 3, in test_function
test_shipping(fn)
File “/home/ccuser/workspace/function-args-nile/test.py”, line 21, in test_shipping
print("\u2705 calculate_shipping_cost() passes tests")
UnicodeEncodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t encode character ‘\u2705’ in position 0: ordinal not in range(128)

Click on the tab marked test.py Scroll down, and you will see three instances of a green box containing a check mark. Replace each with the word OK! (or anything else you want).
Click “Save,” then go back to script.py and run your function.

I cannot believe it was that simple. Thank you so much mate!

If you want any help regarding python project then you can visit http://pythonandmltrainingcourses.com/courses/best-python-training-in-noida/

I also have this problem, but I would like to know how to fix it instead of editing the test.py and removing the :white_check_mark: . Any ideas?

Hi @aleczk,

Codecademy’s system is not configured to run the scripts with the :white_check_mark: character.

If you have Python 3.7 installed on a local machine, you can run the script there without removing the :white_check_mark: character. You’ll need to download the nile.py and test.py files to accompany the script.py file.
