Help with 9/16

ministry = "The Ministry of Silly Walks"

print len(Ministry)
print 'Ministry'.upper()

On line 3, call the len() function with the argument ministry.
On line 4, invoke the ministry's .upper() function.

what a i doing wrong here..

Note that your variable name is lower case:

print len(ministry)

Note that a variable is only a variable when it is not a string.

print ministry.upper()

thank you!! I thought you had to add quotations after print "ministry".upper()

i guess not :slightly_smiling:

Anything in quotes is automatically a string literal (primitive). We never write quotes around a variable name. Strings cannot be variables, only values.
