Help plssssssss!4/23

#1

this is css selectors 4/23
this is mine:
/*Add your CSS below!*/
p {
color: #00e5ee
}
div p {
color: #cc0000;
}
* {
border color: #3a5fcd, 2px;
}
thank you x

#2

Remove '2px' from the border color part and it will work. :smile: Have a nice day.

#3

Add a semicolon " ; " after color: #00e5ee
and define your border also such as solid , dashed etc.. dont forget to put semicolon after.

#5

it doesn't work?? sorry :pensive:

#6

have a nice day too!!!!!

#7

i am confused by this line:

border color: #3a5fcd, 2px;

there are two ways to define a border, with the border property:

border: 3px dashed red;

or with the individual property's:

border-width: 3px;
border-style: dashed;
border-color: red;

the color property would also color the border, but it would also color any text. I am not sure what the make of your border definition. I used different values in my example then required in the exercise

The border property expect 3 values as input: a width (3px in my example) a style (dashed in my example) and a color (red in my example) the individual property's requires one value each.

#8

exact code is :-

p {
color: #00E5EE;
}
div p {
color: #cc0000;
}
* {
border: 2px solid #3a5fcd;
}

May be solved.

#9

That is indeed one of the solution for the exact code, but it doesn't explain why

#10

sorry, yes you are right.. this may be one solution dear..

#11

I what you said exactly and it didn't work :expressionless:

#12

p {
color: #00E5EE
}
div p {
color: #CC0000;
}
* {
border-width: 3px;
border-style: dashed;
border-color; #3a5fcd;
}

sooooo what am I doing wrong??? :wink:

#13

After border-color there should be a colon, not a semi-colon

#14

never mind I realised at the bottom it was a semi-colon not a :

#15

it's working... :smile:

#16

Try zooming in and out until it accepts it!!! that fixed my problem
