Help! PLEASE

I don't know what I am doing wrong

ew_word = word+first+pyg
pyg = 'ay'
first = word [0]
word = original.lower()

original = raw_input('Enter a word:')

original = word[1:len(new_word)]

if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha():
print original

else:
print

uhm... what? This program seems to be so full of flaws, lets start at the first line (programs run from top to bottom:

ew_word = word+first+pyg

word, first and pyg are undefined, this will cause an error.

first = word [0]

word is again undefined.

original = word[1:len(new_word)]

both word and new_word are undefined.

if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha():
print original

no indention after the if statement?

else:
print

again, incorrect indention and printing blank? Maybe you should revisit some of the earlier exercises of pyglatin?
