hey guys!!!...please help me here!?

pyg = 'ay'

original = raw_input('Enter a word:')

if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha()
word =original.lower()
first =word[0]:
print original
else:
print 'empty'

#2

Look here:

See the colon (:)? That's invalid syntax.

#3

pyg = 'ay'

original = raw_input('Enter a word:')

if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha():
if word= original.lower()
if first= word[0]
print original
else:
print 'empty'
still doesnt work!!

#4

Why are these if statements? They are fine without them. Anyways, doing it like this is incorrect. Basically, remove them.

#5
