@acholakelvin can you edit your post and this time can you select all the code and press ctrl+k or the </> in the tools pane
and also what is the error you get

Try:
def average(n):
total=sum(n)
total=float(total)
return total/len(n)

results = []

students=[lloyd,alice,tyler]
print get_class_average(students)

this works!
