Help me fix this please

#1

"""Assign the string "Ping!" to
the variable the_machine_goes on
line 5, then print it out on line 6!"""

the_machine_goes = "Ping!"
print "ping".upper()

#2

They want you to print the variable not a new string.

print(the_machine_goes)

#3

thanks really want to learn python aha

Lucky for you it is not that hard to code in any language, just python has tons less of the extra typing that other have like c, c++, c#

c++

#include<iostream>

using namespace std;

int main ()
{
    cout << "This is a print statement!";
    return 0
}

You like that? How about > Java

public class HelloWorld {
   public static void main(String[] args) {
      System.out.println("Here is another print statement!");
   }
}

Or as you are trying to learn, > python

print("The last print statement")

Now you might be wondering why the other two require so much extra typing, well that is because of the language syntax and the built-in functions they have.

Now in either language you can create your own functions/modules/libraries that can do this in less code but these examples are the least amount of code you need to actually get the job done in their respective environments.

NOTE: I am not that good at c++ or Java yet as I am still working on them
