Help 'js'

#1

hey please help me

var orangeCost = function(price){
 console.log(""+ price * 5 );
}
orangeCost("5");

what's wrong with this ?
"Oops, try again. Hmm, it looks like your orangeCost() function doesn't return 25 when the cost of an orange is 5".

Hey S Van,

On line 2 you need to remove ""+, and keep just the console.log(price * 5); part.

I hope this helps, let me know if you've got any questions :)

thank you so much :wink:

Also use 5 instead of "5". It probably works as well as "5" has a value of "5" but if you're dealing with numbers it's better to actually use numbers think of for example what the result of "5"+5 would be: "55".
