Help ......Functions, return and if / else

#1

<ar quarter = function (number)

if (quarter() % 3 === 0 ) {
console.log("The statement is true");
} else {
console.log("The statement is false");
}

ok first off, assuming <ar really is var you forgot return number / 4 like it says in the instructions. Secondly, you need a number in the parenthesis of your if quarter statement.
Here is a basic outline:

var quarter = function(number) {
return number/4 //add this line!
}
if (quarter(number)% 3 === 0) {
