so when i clicked submit the console printed exactly as it should have (correctly) but I get this error...
"your sayHello method does not properly log to the console" etc...

function Dog (breed) {
this.breed = breed;
};

// add the sayHello method to the Dog class
// so all dogs now can say hello
Dog.prototype.sayHello = function () {
console.log ("Hello this a " + this.breed + " dog");
}

var yourDog = new Dog("golden retriever");
yourDog.sayHello();

var myDog = new Dog("dachshund");
myDog.sayHello();

I had the same issue but forgot to put a psace before the quotations in "dog". when I added the space it worked

Dog.prototype.sayHello = function() {
console.log("Hello this is a " + this.breed + " dog");
};
