Having trouble installing Pipenv

I’m currently in the Python 3 course track and I’m on the part where I need to install Pipenv. I have a 13 inch MacBook Pro (M1 Chip version) and have followed the instructions carefully. I am able to properly copy and paste the folder to the PATH, properly save an execute with the “:wp!” command. However, when I check Pipenv it still says “command not found”. How do I fix this? Also here is what bash_profile looks like when I open it up so you can see what I did :

export PATH="/Users/shayling/.local/bin:$PATH"

That must be a bit of a dated video (and a cruel one to make you use vi/vim if you’re unfamiliar with it). OSX no longer uses bash as the default shell. You’d want to be altering the initialisation scripts for zsh instead of for bash.

The following might be useful for the zsh set-up instead of bash on OSX-
