Guys .a in my code doesn't seem to be registering

#1

.a isn't registering on my code, so my code isn't being used as CSS instead the nav remains red colored. Any help is really appreciated! Thanks

You only put a . in front of class names, not element names.

Make sure that you aren't having this problem: http://discuss.codecademy.com/t/2-10-where-do-i-put-the-nav-css-code/815/12

If you are still stuck you can post your code here and someone will help you spot the problem.

This is my code, not the problem like the one on the post you suggested. Really appreciate your help!

You are missing one of your semicolons there.

  color: #5a5a5a;
  font-size: 11px;
  font-weight: bold;

  padding-left: 10px;
  padding-right: 10px;
  padding-top: 14px;
  text-transform: uppercase;
}

Your code looks great. Usually the problem is that people put the code in the wrong file. Check here to see if that could be your problem:
