Grid Area


I don’t understand the grid area # / # / # / #;

grid-row-start / grid-row-end / grid-column-start / grid-column-end

The above is shorthand like other examples in CSS, such as margins, padding, etc. It lets us write in one simple declaration what would otherwise take four verbose lines to do.

To clarify, the row starts and spans 1…
The column starts at 9 and spans 4…

That sounds correct.
