Getting Started Lesson #13 syntax error (cant see the problem?)

#1

console.log("Xiao Hui" < .length 122);
console.log("Goody Donaldson" > .length 8);
console.log(8*2 === 16);

The idea was to get the results windw to answer true but I am simply getting an error message "unexpected token"

Can anyone help me please?

#2

You have to attach .length to the string that you want the length of.

#3

thanks...
now i am getting this error "SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list"
for my code of
// Fill in with >, <, === so that the following print out true:
console.log("Xiao Hui".length 122<);
console.log("Goody Donaldson".length 8>);
console.log(8*2 16 ===);

#4

same message for this
console.log("Xiao Hui".length 122<);
console.log("Goody Donaldson".length 8>);
console.log(8*2 === 16);

#5

You've moved the < symbol. You have to have that between the two things that your are comparing.

#6

bingo thx for that seems to have forced a penny to drop :slightly_smiling:
