There are courses from basic on up through intermediate and into other JS based frameworks like jQuery, React, Vue, p5, phaser, &c. If you wish to learn some on your own on the side, there are a good many free standalone JS courses that are not paced or tied to any career path. Click the catalog link in the menu above and it should outline all the courses, or scroll to the bottom and look for JavaScript to go to the JS courses landing page.
As for JS in the career path, it may not be extensive and only provide review material on the assumption you might have learned the basics already. Can’t say for sure. Bottom line, JS is a major component of the front end so definitely expect it to be part of the path.
