It seems practically easier if I type the whole code from scratch instead of having to dig into a code typed by someone else to fully understand it, at least with the CSS file.
This is also a general question, so not just for this project.
Your thoughts are appreciated 
when you have a project which where multiple people worked on (different areas/expertise’s) and took thousands of hours, you can’t just be: lets start over.
this is why its so important to write logical structured, readable and maintainable code.
