For Your Hobbies(a small doubt)

#1

I don't understand why there was a 'u' before the item in the list.

#2

Here is the code:
hobbies = []

Add your code below!

for hobby in range(3):
hobby = raw_input("Your Hobby: ")
hobbies.append(hobby)
print hobbies

#3

the u is for unicode, codecademy stores the raw_input as unicode (rather then string), simply cast to string using str() to get rid of the problem

#4

Got it, thank you very much!

#5

Hi,

I am having an error that says i have to ask user for input even tho this is in code. how may i fix this?

#6

you can't have a space between raw_input and (

#7
