Font Size Error - HTML Basics II Ex. 8

#1

Hi,

I keep seeing this message
"Oops, try again.Did you set the second paragraph's font-size to 20px? It looks like
it's 10px. (If you're getting a weird decimal font size, check the
Hint.)"

I am using safari and my default font is 10px

Could you please tell me understand what is happening?

Thanks

Here is my code.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>First font size change</title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <p style="font size: 10px"> Some text for you to make tiny! </p>
        <p style="font size: 20px"> Some text for you to make normal size!</p>
        <p style="font size: 40px"> Some text for you to make super big!</p>
    </body>
</html>

The code looks correct. Try refreshing your browser or using a different browser. Sometimes the code just needs a fresh start.

#3

i disagree with your, there is one flaw in this code

@nathro, font-size is one word with a dash/hyphen in between. you miss the hyphen

#4

I missed that one there. Good eye!

#5

Thank you! That completely solved my problem, too! :smile:

#6

Very good eye! Indeed it solved the problem.
Thanks a lot

What is wrong with this:

Big Heading

A giant bear and a little duck were friends.

But the bear got hungry and ate the duck.

Keep saying is 32px instead of 16px

Here is my code in case you can't get past this lesson. it worked for me:)

   <p style="font-size: 10px"> Some text for you to make tiny! </p>
    <p style="font-size: 20px"> Some text for you to make normal size!</p>
    <p style ="font-size: 40px"> Some text for you to make super big!</p>

Thanks, but I'm still getting the same problem. It's probably something wrong with my browser, I don't know why else it wouldn't work.

If you need help, post your code. You didn't post your code + error message
