Font-family is not being accepted

#1

Is not accepted on a couple stages of the CSS lessons (Fonts, and Headings).

font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;

This seems to be an incredibly common glitch, but I am supposed to do this HTML/CSS course for an assignment. I have already taken courses in both recently in Uni. I have read through what other people did to resolve this. Apparently it was fixed in Firefox, I tried Firefox, still didn't work. So unless I am missing something basic this glitch/whatever-it-may-be is still present.

My CSS:

.nav a {
color:#5a5a5a;
font-size:11px;
font-weight:bold;
padding-top:14px;
padding-bottom:14px;
padding-left:10px;
padding-right:10px;
text-transform:uppercase;
}
.jumbotron {
height:500px;
background-image: url('https://goo.gl/04j7Nn');
}
.jumbotron h1 {
color:#fff;
font-size:48px;
font-weight:bold;
font-family:'Shift', sans-serif;
}
.jumbotron p {
color:#fff;
font-size:20px;
}

AND just in case, My HTML:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <link href="http://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/ltp/css/shift.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>

  <body>
    <div class="nav">
      <div class="container">
        <ul>
          <li><a href="#">Airbnb logo</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Browse</a></li>
        </ul>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="#">Sign Up</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Log In</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Help</a></li>
        </ul>
      </div>
    </div>

    <div class="jumbotron">
      <div class="container">
        <h1>Find a place to stay.</h1>
        <p>Rent from people in over 34,000 cities and 192 countries.</p>
      </div>
    </div>

    <div class="learn-more">

Your CSS is not linked to your HTML,

In your head tags you need to link in your main.css
