I continue to get this message, either i can't tell what im doing wrong or this is messed up.
Oops, try again.
Slow down there, Speed Racer--it looks like your <h1> tags are
nested funny, like this: <h1 <h1 style='...'></h1> or
<h1> <h1 style='...'></h1>. Double check the
instructions and fix it up!

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>Changing the colors!</title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <h1><h1 style="color: green; font-size 16px">Big Heading</h1>
            <p><p style="color: violet">A giant bear and a little duck were friends.</p>
            <p><p style=" color: red; font-size: 10px">But the bear got hungry and ate the duck.</p>
    </body>
</html>

You only need h1 and paragraph opening tag, style is an attribute you can add to a h1, paragraph (and more) opening tag, so lets say we have a paragaph:

<p>i am a paragraph</p>

and i want to apply style, i simply add the style attribute to the paragraph opening tag:

<p style="">i am a paragraph</p>

without creating a additional paragraph opening tag

for next time, use one of the two following options to make your code/indent is visible:

select your code and press ctrl + shift + c (or cmd + shift + c if you use a mac)

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

```
<p>visible</p>
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard
