Step: 4 - Changing the background image…
I copied the link address and simply pasted in to change the background and nothing appeared, so i clicked on the link to check the image was working and i received and error.

This is strange. In the content editor, I see the incorrect URL (which you’re trying to visit), but when I visit the course myself, I get shown the correct URL. I’ll look into this and see if I can find what’s going on with that 
To get the correct image, you can just change .jpg to .png at the end of the URL, so you have this:

@gmunker Could you take a screenshot of what you see when you hover the link?
For example:
in that screenshot ↑, you can see the URL that clicking the link would take you to.

Yeah, I see what it is. The url under the ‘Here’s the image’ link points to a .jpg, if I change the url to .png it’s fine.
I apologize for not responding to this sooner, i somehow missed the notification for this post.
I am using Windows 10, and no i’m not using a school/company network it’s a home network, and i had my basic windows firewall at the time.
I ended up using a different pic just to complete the project, so i guess thats why it became out of sight out of mind type deal. Again I do apologize for that.

It is incredible that now, in late September, half a year later, the issue has not been solved yet… I got stuck with the same issue.
Please fix that for the benefit of future students.
