Firefox: Ways to restart the browser

#1

Hey guys!

So, I’m a little stumped at the moment. I am new to programming and only really dealt with Java and C#.

My question to you is are there ways to get your browser(specifically Firefox) to restart after a certain page has been reached?

At my school, we have a kiosk where we have users sign in using their credentials to check in their computers. What we are wanting to do is ,after the user hits submit and takes them to the confirmation page, restart the whole browser so that it’ll forget the users information and be immediately available for the next user to use.

(We are trying to avoid those restart add ons)
Is there any ways on going on making a code for this?

Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Restarting the browser will not clear its history or browser cache. That needs to be done manually, afaik.
