Final project - any idea why it doesn't scale to screens?

<PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING TEMPLATE TO HELP YOU CREATE A GREAT POST!>

Hi everyone,

I’ve just completed my final project. Please feel free to take a look and provide feedback. The address is dines.online. It’s very basic but I’m planning to build it out as I learn more!

There’s just one thing that’s confusing me, during offline testing it scaled to fit screen size perfectly, but now that it’s online the layout is identical on my laptop and smartphone. Does anyone know what might have caused this? I’m keen to fix it.

Thanks!

Tom

PS - happy to provide code, just don’t know what the problem might be!

<Below this line, add a link to the EXACT exercise that you are stuck at.>

<In what way does your code behave incorrectly? Include ALL error messages.>

```
Replace this line with your code.
<do not remove the three backticks above>
Open the console and make sure all the support resources are present (eg. Bootstrap, etc.)
How do I do that? I’m googling to find a tutorial but can’t find anything yet.
Could you give me link to project
Sure, here you go: dines.online
I don’t know if this helps, but the page will scale on web browsers, but for some reason not on my iphone.
ah, ipods are well known for the zoom behavior they have. as you can read here you should add this meta tag:
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
to control the zoom level, otherwise ipods (and other mobile devices) will zoom out
That did it! Thanks so much!
No problem, the page i just linked to is also worth a read if you have time, to better understand bootstrap
