I am frustrated with the level of instruction with the NLP chapter of the data science course. The curriculum is failing to take the necessary steps to define key terms that it repeatedly uses.

For example, the concept of vectorization / the use of the word vector is not taught well. Being a science person, the word vector has a specific meaning to me (direction and magnitude) and that does not correlate with how it is being used here.

In the lesson I’m in now, it uses the word ‘corpus’ which is not a common word.

The course needs to do better at establishing a common foundation.
