When you declare the const assert, why do you wrap it in {}?
const {assert} = require(‘chai’);

I wondered the same.

For the import command, we use {} to import submodules (see this tutorial as part of the course on JavaScript modules).

I guess it’s similar, but I’ve never learned the use of {} with const keyword.

Phantomjs has been abandoned in development https://phantomjs.org/. It’s kind of weird to learn something that’s not maintained anymore.

Can you renew this class? There are other modern tools as far as I know.
https://slimerjs.org/ could be?

I’m a pro member and I wouldn’t mind to have updated classes. Also Reactjs one should be evolved with hooks, routing etc.

Thanks.

As I know Chrome has headless mode now, so it could be used instead PhantomJS. We work with WebdriwerI/O API in the course, I assume that it will be same with Chrome as PhantomJS.

Agreed!
Also, WebdriverI/O’s link in the description is broken: brings us to an Error 404 page.
Would be nice if Codecademy could fix this!

I came here to write the same. The course is a little bit outdated.

We’ve used Selenium for our projects.
