The TDD FEATURE-LEVEL TESTS lesson in Learn Testing for Web Development course seems to be starting abruptly.
There’s not a word of the syntax. const {assert} = require(‘chai’); makes no sense to me, even if I’ve been working on several JavaScript and Python courses, to name a few.
Phantom and Webdriver is never introduced either. Am I missing something?

The quality of the lessons seems to sharply decline as I get further and further into the Full Stack Developer Course. I’ve had to skip entire sections because of lack of clarity, lack of direction, and being taught things completely unrelated to what I’m supposed to be learning (i.e. learning helper functions instead of the actual material). This lesson seems to be starting off the same.
What does the describe function do? What does the it function do? Why do we pass “/” into browser.url? Is that just the standard for accessing the root?
There is so little explanation/direction in these lessons, and its incredibly frustrating. Honestly there should really be a feedback button for each individual course/lesson.
I came here to figure out whether the ‘User visits root’, ‘without existing messages’, ‘starts blank’ are predefined somewhere. Would be useful to know whether these are being pulled out of Codecademy’s imagination or are standard messages for eliciting test results?? Maybe I will find out further along…
