If I want to search for names in a table that don’t start with a certain letter (i.e B), than how should i use the LIKE operator?

I tried this:

select * from table
where name like != ‘B%’ ;

Doesn’t work!

I think you can try WHERE name NOT LIKE ‘B%’;

LIKE I. Case insensitive search.
How can i do case insensitive search by text in the column ?
For example i need to find all movies LIKE ‘Se_en’. But i want in me result: ‘SevEn’, ‘sEvEn’, ‘seven’, ‘Se7EN’, and so on.
Tank you.

when using LIKE function , you cant put = sign in it.

Is LIKE case-sensitive?
