If I want to search for names in a table that don’t start with a certain letter (i.e B), than how should i use the LIKE operator?

I tried this:

select * from table
where name like != ‘B%’ ;

Doesn’t work!

I think you can try WHERE name NOT LIKE ‘B%’;
