I’m at the Prompting the User section and entered the following code:

print "What’s your first name? "
first_name = gets.chomp
first_name.capitalize!

When I enter a name, '"What’s your first name? " is printed. A cursor appears at following the question but no text is entered when I try to type my first name and it times out, execution expired.

I’m using Windows 10 on a Dell laptop.

When you Run the code, immediately click in the console and type in a name, then Enter.

Eg.

What’s your first name? █
