Hello everyone,

I am pretty sure it is implied here, but as I couldn’t find it anywhere in the exercise, the Skillpath previously explained I need it and I want to do this right, I have a question to the Codecademy team:
Before I try typing in my first “nmap localhost” in the first exercise - do I (and of course my fellow learners here at Codecademy) have permission to scan the network with nmap for the purpose of completing the exercises in the Codecademy Skillpath “Scan Systems with Nmap”?

Thanks a lot and happy learning everyone

Hello again,
since the course exercise explicitly asks me to, I really want to learn about this and no one here told me no by now, I’m gonna go ahead with the course now.
