This solution

app.get("/logout", (req, res) => {
  req.logout();
  res.redirect("/login");
});

doesn’t work now. .logout() is async now. We must use CB function…

app.get("/logout", (req, res, next) => {
  req.logout(function(err) {
    if (err) return next(err); 
    res.redirect('/login');
  });
});

this course is really disappointing. Ive had to learn so much stuff on my own due to inadequate explanations, and outdated material. :rage:
